Melondy’s work to restore my 50+year-old leather purse handle was SO professional! She has obviously developed major skills to hone an innate talent for restoration. Her color-developing and color-matching for the leather handle is second to none. Her stitches are consistent, even, and uniform, for both the purse and belt. The result on the two pieces was perfect restoration! I am so impressed with her meticulous attention to detail and very high quality materials and workmanship!!

Melondy first repaired a favorite belt where the leather had separated at the holes after 20+ years of daily wear. Still going strong 3 years later…. she patched show chaps, matching leather and fringe seamlessly… replaced heavy duty zippers… patched heavyweight stable blankets… and made new lampshades for me. I’ve no complaints and her prices are reasonable!

My tactical hiking pants always wear at the cuffs, long before the rest of the pants show any wear. Melondy did a remarkable job on reinforcing the cuffs. I think the manufacturers of tactical pants would do well to see her work. Melondy is very talented and professional.

Melondie built my Goldwing GL1500SE seat and there is none to compare with her work. She is what a pro upholsterer should be! Get you one! I’m buying another for my other bike asap! One problem, I can’t make it go to six stars!!!😇

Excellent work by Melondie for several alterations she has made to uniforms of the Pocahontas Co. Honor Guard. It’s nice to have a seamstress back in operation in the Marlinton area. Highly recommended.

My husband has two pairs of lined jeans, with holes in the knees and beyond. I told him to trash them, he said no.

I let Melondy patch them. When I picked them up, my husband and I said this was beyond patching and repairs or whatever we expected.

My husband said they will last forever.
